    As long as residential IP services exist, these products still exist. I agree with the FCC banning chinese devices, though it was overly-broad.

      In other threads here, people were talking about TV streaming devices available from China that become residential IP end points. I guess it's easier to swing the ban hammer than approve individual devices.

        Routers are the worst offenders, because they route all traffic. Compromised TV boxes are still available for sale on shelves all over America.
