terminal-code has been replaced by a shell script which 1) Generates a syslog message at level LOG_EMERG; 2) reduces the user's disk quota by 100K; and 3) RUNS ED!!!!!!
This looks like an amazing idea - pretty much the first thing close to a reason why I would consider installing anything Microsoft related on my Linux.
How does it compare performance wise? Feature parity? Can you spawn shells in the terminal pane or is there no terminal pane and you're expected to being your own multiplexer?

This just embeds electron and shoves it into the terminal instead of the native frontend.
All the same downsides of Electron with practically little to no upside other than the same folks who ruined the web are now ruining the terminal.
