after three years of iteration, experimentation, and a lot of ~thinking~, i've come to believe we're trying to treat the mind without truly understanding it. how do we cure mental illness without a real model of the thing we're treating?
i believe computational models of the mind are the path there: to knowing ourselves in the most intimate way, to better care, and one day, to continuation of the mind itself.
